Action for Global Information Sharing 2011

The AGIS ’11 conference took place on 01-02 December 2011 in UNCC-AA, Addis Ababa, Ethipoia. Thanks to all those who helped organise the event, and who took part.

Action for Global Information Sharing (AGIS) is an annual global event to promote access to information and knowledge for all.

For the first time, AGIS ’11 connected Africa’s language industry and decision makers with the mainstream localization and translation industry and researchers. Read more about AGIS ’11.

Participants

Participants will receive a free subscription to the online version of Multilingual, and to Localisation Focus – The International Journal for Localisation.

Proceedings

AGIS will ask speakers to submit a full written version of their contribution and publish contributions submitted as the AGIS ’11 Proceedings. The organisers are planning to publish selected contributions in book form.
